Wildflower Photography
March 14 @ 9:30 am – 11:30 am
Photographer Mark Turner will share his techniques for capturing high-quality images of wildflowers that combine artfulness and scientific clarity. He’ll introduce you to techniques for creative composition, ways to separate subjects from distracting backgrounds, and how to control natural light to create plant portraits even in mid-day sun.
He’ll show plant portraits, details, and plants in their environment that capture their interrelationships. On the technical side he’ll discuss camera and lens choices and the importance of using a tripod both for stability and as a composition tool. Mark will also touch on ethical field practices and how to understand technical descriptions to help create scientifically relevant images.
For Sale: All three of Mark’s books will be available to purchase. Cash, check or debit/credit accepted.
