Our Most Important Program Fundraising Event of the Year

The WSU Extension Snohomish County Master Gardeners invite you to our annual PLANT SALE!  

Our plant sale will be held on May 9, 2026 at the Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe. The sale will have thousands of tomatoes, herbs, and vegetables.  We will also have thousands of perennials, trees and native plants.  We will be there rain or shine, most of the sale will be indoors and undercover.

Access to the sale is via Hwy 2, just west of Monroe or via Hwy 522 – exit to westbound Hwy 2.  Turn north on Cascade View Dr (the road on the east side of the fairgrounds by the Monroe Coop).  Follow the signs to the parking lot on the left.

Plants for your landscape

Perennials

Master Gardeners thoughtfully plant thousands of your favorite perennials in gallon pots. Inside the pavilion, the plants are arranged on tables and labeled alphabetically by botanical name.

Dahlia Tubers

Discover an extensive selection of dahlias! Our knowledgeable experts will be on hand to provide personalized advice on planting and caring for these beautiful blooms. Each dahlia labeled with the variety and a photo.

Trees and Shrubs

We offer a wide range of trees and shrubs, both large and small, with many varieties to choose from. Not only are they ornamental, but you may also find small fruits such as strawberries and raspberries.

Garden Art

Searching for a one-of-a-kind gift? Take a look at our Garden Art collection. Each piece is crafted by our talented Master Gardeners using found objects, so every creation has its own story and personality.

Carnivorous Plants

Our carnivorous plant experts will be available for questions you might have about growing these fascinating plants. Including several species of:
– Sarracenia (pitcher plants)
– Drosera (sundews)

Plant Groupings

We have small plant groupings, arranged around a pavilion to show how certain plants complement each other. These serve as real-life inspirations for a quick garden refresh, showing off combinations that work.

Plants for your vegetable garden

All plants are grown from seed and tended to daily by Master Gardeners. We choose the plant variety that is best suited for our climate.

What to Know:

Here’s a quick summary of the main points and advice for attending this sale:

  • The sale layout has changed, so follow signs to navigate.
  • No dogs allowed (Fairgrounds rule).
  • No carts, wagons, or strollers in the sale area (Fire Marshall rule). Leave these outside or in your car.
  • Building occupancy is limited, so you might have to wait to enter if it’s crowded.
  • Bring your own boxes for shopping—some will be available, but not enough for everyone.
  • There’s a Holding Area for your items while you shop.
  • Parking and admission are free.
  • Payment: Visa/MasterCard debit or credit, checks, and cash (small bills or exact change preferred).
